UK and US renovation planning
Choose your country, region or state, and city once. Every calculator then uses the local currency automatically and applies the selected state or UK-region planning factor.

Why location matters
A Dallas, Texas estimate is shown in US dollars and uses the Texas state planning factor. A Manchester estimate is shown in pounds sterling and uses the North West England regional factor. City selection labels the market; it does not claim a separate city price. There is no currency selector to mismatch.
GBP estimates, metric units and regional labour multipliers covering England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
USD estimates, US customary units, all 50 states plus Washington, DC, and major cities in every state.
Each result is paired with cost drivers and a checklist so competing contractor quotes can be compared on the same scope.
Editorial standard
Home improvement prices vary with labour availability, access, permits, taxes, product choice and hidden conditions. Our ranges are intentionally broad enough to be honest, with the assumptions stated beside each calculator. The result is a planning figure, not a binding quote.
